A blast took place during the inspection of explosives seized from Faridabad, in Jammu and Kashmir’s Nowgam police station. Police and forensic teams were extracting samples at the time. At least nine people were killed and 29 were injured as of 9.30am on 15 November. The impact was such that body parts were found nearly 300 metres away.
