Walker is somebody the Sixers can turn to off the bench and he brings energy, hustle, and a willingness to do whatever it is they need from him. That's an underrated skill in today's NBA. The ability to stay ready and contribute even when a player has been out of the rotation for a bit.

Drafted by the Jaguars with the No. 1 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Walker has become a key piece for the Jaguars' defense year after year. He played in 14 regular season games in 2025, missing three due to injuries that decreased his snap count from 911 in 2024 to 525 this season.

Walker is close friends with Boston Celtics executive Brad Stevens, who was his college roommate at DePauw University.
