Delaware state police say a trooper was killed in what officials said was an active shooter situation at a DMV facility in New Castle County on Tuesday afternoon.

Oak Brook police officers saved someone who was involved in a single-vehicle crash during the early morning hours Sunday on Interstate 88, near Route 83.

Police said around 5:30 p.m. Monday, a District Action Team detective was pursuing a suspect along York Road when a patrol vehicle unintentionally struck him.
