A former Catholic school principal who raped a student in a toilet cubicle and held a victim down during a rape by another teacher, will go back to jail after losing his appeal against his conviction.
The Court of Appeal ordered a warrant for Desmond Gregory Mackrell – previously known as “Brother Bede” to his students – to lie on file for five days after the 90-year-old’s unsuccessful application.
